Duolingo is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance the learning experience for millions of users worldwide. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate on Full-Stack Projects: Work closely with product design and engineering teams to develop, release, and maintain services and infrastructure.
- Lead Project Priorities: Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Innovate and Implement: Past projects include developing a GPT-4 chat interface, creating Spanish audio lessons, and integrating A/B testing frameworks.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.
- Graduation Date: Expected to graduate in Spring 2026 or sooner.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 12-week internship and relocate to Pittsburgh, PA.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $50 - $52 per hour.
