About the Role
As a Software Engineering Intern at Perpay, your primary responsibility is to learn and gain real-world experience in a fast-paced tech startup environment. Over the course of 10-12 weeks, you will work alongside our engineering team, contributing to our codebase and helping to develop features within our existing product roadmap. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across our three main products, ensuring that no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to our codebase and assist in the development of new features.
- Test and release features into production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, data science, and operations.
- Develop skills necessary to succeed in a tech startup environment.

- Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript, React, Redux, Python, Django, Flask
- Tools & Platforms: Kubernetes, AWS, Docker
What You’ll Bring
- Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline with an expected graduation date between winter 2025 – summer 2026.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Knowledge and experience with some or all of our tech stack.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, with a strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals.
- A focus on writing clear, readable, and testable code.
Bonus Points
- Enrollment in a Master’s Degree or advanced technical degree.
- Previous work experience in a technical field.
