Software Engineering Intern

About the Role

As a Software Engineering Intern at Perpay, your primary responsibility is to learn and gain real-world experience in a fast-paced tech startup environment. Over the course of 10-12 weeks, you will work alongside our engineering team, contributing to our codebase and helping to develop features within our existing product roadmap. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across our three main products, ensuring that no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

Contribute to our codebase and assist in the development of new features.
Test and release features into production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, data science, and operations.
Develop skills necessary to succeed in a tech startup environment.

Tools & Platforms: Kubernetes, AWS, Docker

What You’ll Bring

Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline with an expected graduation date between winter 2025 – summer 2026.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Knowledge and experience with some or all of our tech stack.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, with a strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals.
A focus on writing clear, readable, and testable code.

Bonus Points

Enrollment in a Master’s Degree or advanced technical degree.
Previous work experience in a technical field.
