What You'll Do
- Solve our most ambitious problems using the right tools for the task.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring your ideas to life in our products.
- Identify problems, prototype solutions, evaluate their return on investment, and implement the best solutions at scale.
- Share your findings both within Duolingo and with the broader research community.
What We're Looking For
- A Ph.D. in computer science or a related technical field (or expected by August 2025).
- A portfolio of impactful work, such as publications, open-source projects, or AI internships.
- Strong debugging and critical thinking skills.
- A creative, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial approach to R&D.
- Ability to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA.
