Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for versatile engineers who are passionate about designing and implementing elegant software solutions. You will have the autonomy to propose creative approaches to complex problems and work closely with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implant firmware or embedded software.
- Create systems for manufacturing, analyzing, and testing devices.
- Build data platforms to collect, organize, and visualize diverse data sets.
- Develop software for neurosurgical robots and lab management systems.
- Work on real-time software that interacts with neural interfaces.
- Contribute to on-prem and cloud infrastructure development.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement simple and elegant software solutions.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful software.
- Enthusiasm for technology and software development.
- Understanding of fundamental system operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ruby, Python, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with C/C++/Rust.
- Knowledge of container management and orchestration.
- Experience with full-stack application frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Django.
- Understanding of web development and infrastructure development.
