Role Overview
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on a variety of interdisciplinary teams. You will have the opportunity to partner with colleagues across the company to accelerate our pathway to mass-market, consumer-grade brain-computer interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement simple and elegant software solutions.
- Work on implant firmware or embedded software.
- Develop systems for manufacturing, analyzing, and testing the device.
- Create data platforms to collect, organize, and visualize diverse data sets.
- Contribute to neurosurgical robot software and lab management systems.
- Develop software that interacts in real-time with our neural interfaces.
- Work on on-prem & cloud infrastructure to enable safe and robust operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement simple and elegant software solutions.
- Proven track record of shipping software with real-world impact.
- Enthusiasm for technology and software.
- Understanding of how systems work at a fundamental level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ruby, Python, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with C/C++/Rust.
- Knowledge of container management and orchestration.
- Experience with full-stack application frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Django.
- Understanding of web development and infrastructure development.
