About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern at Meta, you will:
- Develop and push production-ready code by quickly ramping up on assigned codebases, product areas, and systems.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal iterations.
- Identify problem statements, outline optimal solutions, and account for tradeoffs and edge cases.
- Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience coding in an industry-standard language such as Java, Python, C++, Objective-C, or JavaScript.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
- Intent to return to a degree program after the completion of the internship/co-op.

- This internship/co-op has a minimum duration of twelve (12) weeks.
- Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
