About the Role
Join Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Software Engineer Intern and be part of the team responsible for managing all Payment Gateways. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art systems that interact with Payment Processors. You will be involved in building new gateways on the Extensible Payment Gateways platform and improving operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve tools for operational efficiency.
- Build microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Gain exposure to AWS and other cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to innovate and improve payment systems.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Exposure to AWS is a plus.
- Ability to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th.
- Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
- Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
Eligibility
- Must be pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2026.
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Compensation
- Intern Pay Range: $45—$49.50 USD per hour.
