Software Engineer Intern - Masters

About the Role
Join the Test Framework & Infrastructure team at Sony Interactive Entertainment as a Software Engineer Intern. This role is perfect for a Master's student eager to innovate and contribute to the future of our test framework and infrastructure. You will collaborate with senior engineers to develop new tools and enhance the reliability of our test infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand Test Account Management: Work on expanding test account management needs to wider SIE engineering teams.
- Prioritize Test Automation: Focus on test automation in production to ensure efficient and reliable test runs.
- Address Test Flakiness: Tackle test flakiness issues to ensure consistent and reliable test outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a projected graduation by Spring 2026.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python or JavaScript and a broad understanding of microservice architecture.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, self-directed, and capable of independent work.
- Interest in Experimentation: Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and analysis, both verbally and in writing.
Eligibility
- Internship Period: Available to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th.
- Availability: Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
- Visa Requirements: Open to U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $54 per hour.
