Join Our Team as a Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2025
Veterans United Home Loans is excited to offer a Software Engineer Internship for the summer of 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring software engineers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an intern, you will be part of a team that creates and maintains web applications to support specific business objectives. This position is remote, allowing you to work from Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City, or Springfield, MO.
Key Responsibilities
- Code Construction: Develop code using object-oriented principles, MVC frameworks, and ORMs.
- Testing: Conduct extensive testing, including unit and functional testing, to ensure code quality.
- Helpdesk and Refactoring: Maintain helpdesk tickets and perform code refactoring as needed.
- Application Implementation: Implement applications and manage source control.
- User Interface Design: Create intuitive user interfaces through both front-end and back-end design.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects.
- Team Contribution: Actively contribute to team culture and assist with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activities.
