This immersive, hands-on experience is designed to broaden your technical expertise and provide you with the skills needed to succeed in the IT industry.
What You'll Do
- Build High-Impact Solutions: Work on projects that allow Vanguard to perform at its best and do what's right for investors.
- Support Client Outcomes: Help achieve client outcomes and give our investors the best chance at investment success.
- Gain Hands-On Experience: Engage in software development and practice Agile & LEAN methodologies in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate and Share Insights: Work individually and in teams to drive outcomes and share insights.
- Network and Learn: Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers. Receive personalized coaching and mentorship from your department manager and internship program manager.
What It Takes
- Educational Background: Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, or a related technical/engineering field.
- Interest in Development: Strong interest in web, mobile, and/or application development.
- Coding Experience: Experience with coding languages is preferred.
- Academic Excellence: A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and/or aspirations.
- Soft Skills: Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment.
Special Factors
- Sponsorship: Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
- Internship Details: This is a full-time, paid summer internship starting in May/June 2025.
