Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Square, you will be part of the Buyer Platform team, tasked with developing tools to help merchants grow their businesses. You will design and build new features, deliver APIs, and collaborate on cross-team projects. Your work will directly impact merchants by improving their ability to understand and serve their customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build new features for our Customer Platform.
- Deliver APIs that simplify interactions with customer data.
- Collaborate with other teams on scaling and improving data quality.
- Address performance and scalability challenges as our customer data set grows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in data modeling and management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with platform teams supporting integrations.
