About the Program

The NVIDIA Ignite program is crafted to immerse students from historically underrepresented communities in a comprehensive internship experience. You will work on-site at our Santa Clara headquarters, engaging with NVIDIA’s products, culture, and ecosystem.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for first-year (class of 2028) or second-year (class of 2027) undergraduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. If you are passionate about software and eager to learn, this program is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your career.

What You Will Do

Engage in projects related to AI Machine Learning, Automotive Offensive Security, Embedded Software, GPU Software Engineering, and more.
Develop skills in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Perl.
Gain a general understanding of data structures, algorithm complexity, and mathematical fundamentals.
Work on high-performance computing and operating system concepts.

Compensation

The hourly rate for our interns ranges from $18 to $54, determined based on your location, year in school, degree, and experience.

Benefits

NVIDIA will cover a one-time round trip for students traveling over 50 miles to Santa Clara.
A supplemental housing stipend is provided to assist with living expenses over the summer.
