About the Role
Snowflake is seeking a passionate and dedicated Software Engineer Intern to join our AI/ML team for the Spring 2025 term. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our AI Data Cloud platform. As an intern, you will be involved in various projects that aim to simplify and enhance AI and machine learning capabilities for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of world-class engineers to build reliable and trustworthy AI systems.
- Work on simplifying the experience of building LLM-powered applications.
- Contribute to the development of ML tools for SQL-based analysts and users.
- Participate in delivering product enhancements leveraging language models.
- Engage in research and development of large-scale distributed systems and AI inference models.

What We Expect
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the internship.
- Desired class level: Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field.
- Recommended coursework in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and related areas.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, Golang, and Java.
- Preferred knowledge of Pytorch or CUDA.
- Experience working as part of a team and a passion for technology.

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this role is $45.00-$55.00 per hour. The starting hourly rate will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package.
