Role Overview
As a Staff Tech Lead in our Cloud team, you will be pivotal in leading a team dedicated to the automated deployment of applications to secure production environments. Your role involves crafting developer-facing tools and infrastructure that enhance developer happiness and boost development velocity. You will define and build scalable and secure service frameworks, known as 'golden paths'.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for the deployment of applications.
- Build and maintain developer-facing tools and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to gather requirements and drive projects.
- Design and implement services using Go, Python, or C++.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD and Spinnaker.
- Manage Kubernetes environments, including custom controllers and operators.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping commercial products and services.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
- Leadership experience in managing a small team of infrastructure engineers.
- Preferred: Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS), managed ingress solutions, and working in the AV industry.
