Role Overview
As a Tech Lead / Tech Lead Manager at Latitude AI, you will be instrumental in leading the Unified Modeling team. This team is responsible for developing advanced detection models that integrate multiple sensors like Cameras, LiDAR, and Radar to create comprehensive representations of the environment. These models support critical functions such as motion planning, prediction, and localization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize spatio-temporal machine learning models for detection, multi-sensor fusion, and segmentation.
- Stay updated with the latest research and apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques to practical problems.
- Transition solutions from the lab to real-world applications, ensuring they meet production standards.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, prototype, test, and deploy robust perception systems.
- Maintain high standards of software development and ensure integration with other key systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions in Python/C++ environments.
- Strong background in computer vision, perception, and sensor data processing.
- Proven track record with frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow.
