Overview
TikTok is seeking a Tech Lead for our DevOps Infrastructure team in San Jose, CA. This role is pivotal in leading the development and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring it supports our rapidly growing platform. As a Tech Lead, you will be at the forefront of deploying and managing infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, GCP, and Terraform.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Implement DevOps practices to enhance software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications are scalable and reliable.
- Automate build and deployment processes for continuous software delivery.
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with application requirements and best practices for security and cost optimization.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high code quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficient in infrastructure automation tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, network, and security concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
