AI ENGINEER

What Will Be Your Challenge?

Our Artificial Intelligence Engineering team is dedicated to supporting clients in adopting artificial intelligence by creating actionable AI solution factories integrated into business architecture and processes.

As an AI Engineer, you will design scalable Machine Learning (ML) software solutions for client use cases and industrialize them for production, ensuring required levels of performance, security, and governance.

You will work closely with other BIP xTech roles, such as Cloud Data Architects, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers, to deliver high-quality ML solutions. This includes designing and implementing MLOps platforms, providing guidelines and best practices on data and AI architectures, supporting software implementation, and AI observability features.

Additionally, you will contribute to the Bip xTech Data Community through research, technology scouting, new solution concepts, and business development with BIP clients.

Open positions are available for both junior and senior profiles.

Essential Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related STEM fields.
• Experience in software development in at least one language, such as Python, Scala, Java, or similar.
• Experience in software solution design and data structure and algorithm implementation.
• Experience using Code Repository tools like GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, algorithms, and methodologies.
• Experience with SQL languages for database design, query, and management; experience using SQL for ETL activities.
• Fluent professional Italian and English.

Plus

• Experience with major cloud platforms (Google, AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Big Data and Data Warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka).
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers, LangChain).
• Knowledge of data/model versioning frameworks (e.g., MLFlow, DVC, WanDB).
• Experience with AGILE work frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
