AI Specialist with Azure Expertise

As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing AI models and solutions using Azure tools, integrating AI solutions into existing business systems, and providing comprehensive documentation and reports on AI projects and best practices. You will also offer technical guidance and knowledge transfer to future team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Azure AI Studio for model development and deployment.
• Preprocess documents and data to implement AI search solutions using Azure AI Search.
• Integrate AI solutions with other Azure services as needed.
• Collaborate with data engineers to collect, preprocess, and manage datasets.
• Ensure data quality and readiness for AI model training and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and AI expertise to the team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
• Assist in training and onboarding future AI team members.
• Document AI solutions, development processes, and best practices.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI technologies and methodologies.
• Explore and evaluate alternative AI tools and platforms, in addition to Azure.
• Propose innovative solutions and improvements for existing processes.
• Temporarily work as a data engineer to prepare and gather data.

Required Expertise

• Azure Expertise: Proficient in Azure AI tools, including Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Search.
• Programming in Python: Extensive experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, and PySpark for AI and data engineering tasks.
• Data Engineering: Experience with data preprocessing, transformation, and building ETL pipelines with tools like Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
• AI/ML Frameworks: Skilled in model training and deployment with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Database Skills: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data manipulation and storage.
• Version Control: Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Other AI Platforms: Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI, and IBM Watson is a plus.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Degree in Applied Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
