Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Framework Engineer to help spearhead the development of an innovative AI framework tailored for distributed and dynamic computing environments. As a key member of our team, you will work to design, implement, and optimize this framework, enabling seamless integration of AI algorithms and models across infrastructure managed by our platform.

Responsibilities

• Build, document, optimize, and maintain AI framework related software packages to enable successful training and deployment of models and algorithms across dynamic heterogeneous infrastructure.
• Design and implement testing frameworks and methodologies via CI/CD to ensure framework reliability.
• Collaborate closely with research, engineering, and product teams to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and prioritize framework features/attributes.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and technologies.

Requirements and Skills

• Strong Python and C++ (or Rust) programming skills.
• Experience optimizing AI inference and training algorithms in the context of hardware accelerators (Apple Silicon, GPU, TPU, etc.).
• Deep understanding of AI algorithm architectures, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and their integration into distributed environments.
• Experience building, training, and deploying AI models to production environments.
• Understanding of common federated learning patterns and approaches.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges related to distributed systems, performance optimization, and resource management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deployment and orchestration.
