What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Tackle Complex Problems: Work on some of the hardest problems in software engineering, scaling within a culture of engineering excellence.
• Define Systems Architecture: Help define our systems architecture and engineering roadmap.
• Build Foundational Components: Personally build out foundational components that power Augment.
• Solve Abstract Problems: Break down abstract, hard problems into systems that can be maintained, tested, and scaled.
• Develop APIs: Build data models and infrastructure for stream data processing, ML training, and graph manipulation, then wrap them in simple, extensible, and efficient APIs.
• Take Ownership: Be empowered to take ownership, make decisions, and get things done.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ Years of Experience: You have significant experience in software engineering.
• Is Proficient in Key Technologies: You are proficient with Ruby, Python, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and the AWS ecosystem.
• Has Experience with Distributed Systems: You have experience building and debugging distributed systems.
• Is Familiar with Automated Testing: You are familiar with automated testing and test-driven development.
• Thrives in a Startup Environment: Early-stage startup experience is strongly preferred.
• Wears Multiple Hats: Bonus for DevOps experience and AI DL/ML experience.
