AI Frameworks Engineer

Job Description

The Client AI organization at Intel is dedicated to research and development for the future of AI, focusing on enabling machine intelligence on Edge, desktop, and mobile computers. Our AI accelerators are designed for daily use across millions of devices, achieving minimal power consumption while delivering tremendous computing power.

Role Overview

As an AI Frameworks Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and deploying new AI use cases for Intel Client platforms. This includes working on image classification, speech recognition, and natural language processing. You will have the opportunity to work with best-in-class AI hardware accelerators using state-of-the-art software technology to deliver unparalleled AI solutions to Intel Client compute devices. This role involves contributing to the next wave of disruptive use cases in generative AI and large language models.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI use cases for Intel Client platforms.
Work with MLIR compiler, OpenVINO plugin, and software kernel libraries.
Collaborate with a distributed team across Europe, including Romania, Ireland, and Poland.
Engage in code reviews, paired programming, and integration testing.
Contribute to large-scale, multi-component software systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in programming.
Excellent C++ programming skills and proficiency in one of the following: C, C#, Python, Bash, Makefiles.
Experience with computer architecture and large-scale software systems.
Familiarity with OpenCV library and/or OpenVINO development toolkit.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in compiler technologies, computer vision, numerical modeling, or deep-learning frameworks.
Ability to create software designs based on architecture and requirements.
Experience in developing graph-based algorithms.
Experience in AI hardware accelerators, VPU, GPU, and heterogeneous architectures.
Embedded systems experience and real-time operating systems.
Experience in developing drivers and working with LLVM/MLIR.

Working Model
