Join Our Team as an Analytics Engineer
Semrush, a global IT company, is seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to join our Data Product & Research Team. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about turning ideas into reality and enhancing our analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of analytical projects.
- Develop Data Pipelines: Create, deploy, and maintain analytical data pipelines, data mining algorithms, and other advanced analytical solutions to address business challenges.
- Data Asset Management: Develop and maintain data assets for reliable company-wide usage, ensuring they are optimized, tested, and documented.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate results.
- Knowledge Sharing: Participate in knowledge transfer within the company’s data analytics community through technical demos and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Who We Are Looking For
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Economics, Business Analysis, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or data science. Software engineering experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in SQL and relational databases, proficiency in Python for advanced data manipulation, and familiarity with tools like Airflow, DBT, Git, and cloud platforms such as GCP.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Visualization: Experience with BI tools like Tableau.
- Additional Tools: Proficiency with bash scripting.
