Role Overview
Join Semrush as an Analytics Engineer within our Data Product & Research Team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven decision making. This position is ideal for those passionate about data engineering, analytics, and contributing to a team that influences company-wide decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core data assets that serve as the single source of truth for key company metrics.
- Support the global Metrics Definition initiative by creating and managing a consistent system of main metrics.
- Own the calculation logic of these metrics and ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in the development of data models and schemas, and manage complex data pipeline projects.
- Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, Economics, Business Analysis, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and relational databases is essential.
- Experience with Airflow, dbt, Jinja, Git, and cloud platforms like GCP is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and software engineering practices is advantageous.
