Senior Machine Learning Engineer - DS Team

Join Semrush as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in our Data Science team, where you will have the opportunity to turn innovative ideas into reality using advanced coding, algorithms, and a touch of magic. This role involves the full project development cycle, from problem statement and research to model deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Full project development cycle: From problem statement and research to experiments, model deployment, and monitoring.
- Development of classification, ranking, regression, and clustering models.
- Working with LLM: Embeddings, prompt engineering, model fine-tuning.
- Supporting the infrastructure for conducting experiments, storing results, retraining models, quality monitoring, and alerting.
- Working with data providers' APIs.
- Code review.
Who We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a DS/MLOps/MLE.
- Strong understanding of the principles of machine learning algorithms, probability theory, statistics, linear algebra.
- High proficiency in Python and ML stack.
- Experience with Docker and k8s manifests.
- Knowledge of SQL.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with LLM.
- Experience with NLP.
- Experience with DVC.
- Experience with GitLab CI.
- Experience with GCP and Vertex AI.
- Experience in developing ETL processes with Airflow.
- Experience in deploying ML systems with batch/real-time processing and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager).
- Reproducible research.
A Bit About The Team
You will be part of a data science team responsible for supporting teams working in the SEO domain. We create internal services using machine learning, based on which other teams implement new products. Our team includes a Product Owner, a Technical Owner, three Data Scientists, and two MLOps Engineers. The workload is increasing, and we are looking for a talented individual to join us.
