About the Role
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing integration tests for our backend systems. These systems communicate via HTTP and custom RPC over TCP/IP. You will create service mocks as needed to facilitate comprehensive testing and conduct thorough testing of data providers to ensure accuracy and reliability. Your role will also involve participating in feature design discussions, bringing your quality-focused perspective to the table, and assisting internal users with API-related inquiries to foster smooth interdepartmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integration tests for backend systems.
- Create service mocks to facilitate comprehensive testing.
- Conduct thorough testing of data providers.
- Participate in feature design discussions.
- Assist internal users with API-related inquiries.
Who We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in Node.js for test development.
- Advanced Linux user skills.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI for continuous integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
