Your Role and Responsibilities
As a C Developer Intern at Stonebranch, you will be part of the Universal Agent development team, contributing to the development and refinement of our agent software solutions. This role involves participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. You will work closely with senior developers and participate in Agile/SCRUM-driven development processes, adhering to best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD).
What You Will Do
- Generate technical specifications to create or redesign software components.
- Configure and maintain software and scripts needed to support development activities, including builds and unit testing.
- Create and maintain documentation to capture software design and implementation, as well as internal processes and operations.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Solid programming discipline including unit testing, data structures, complexity analysis, object-oriented principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with C or C++ programming.
- Familiarity with developing applications on platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Unix (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX).
- Experience with project management tools such as VersionOne, Jira, or Redmine.
- Knowledge of Git or Subversion for version control.
