Role and Responsibilities
As a Summer Software Engineer, you will:
- Develop innovative technologies that are changing the Private Equity industry.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design, build, deploy, and support Blackstone Innovations' suite of applications.
- Work with technologies such as Python, C#, JavaScript/React/Node.js, and utilize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Leverage AWS for cloud-native container-based and serverless architectures.
- Build robust data pipelines connecting to Snowflake for data analysis and visualization.
- Use tools like Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Airflow, and Snowflake to build scalable solutions.
- Integrate JavaScript libraries such as React to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Design data models and persist data to relational and NoSQL databases.
- Utilize Kafka and SQS for messaging and build caching layers using Redis.
- Automate deployments using Jenkins and Gitlab.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
- Have object-oriented programming experience in any language.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Possess a self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude.

Compensation
- Expected annual base salary: $125,000
