About the Internship
Signify, a global leader in lighting, is offering an exciting internship opportunity within its 3D Printing team in Eindhoven. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates who are passionate about utilizing innovative technologies to make a positive impact on the environment and society.
What You Will Do
- Install and configure software like Klipper, Moonraker, and Fluidd on a Raspberry Pi running Linux.
- Analyze existing software architectures and functionalities.
- Implement functions for real-time monitoring of printer status.
- Perform extensive testing to ensure reliability and accuracy in data reporting and task management.
- Document the installation process and integration steps.
Your Qualifications
- Currently studying for a bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of 3D printing software and hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to achieving results.
- Excellent communication skills in English for documentation and reporting.
