Internship Opportunity: AI/ML Software Developer for Electronic Design Automation
Are you currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field? Infineon's Design Center in Villach is seeking a motivated and committed master student to join our team as an AI/ML Software Developer Intern. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI/ML and Electronic Design Automation (EDA), contributing to the development of cutting-edge semiconductor solutions.
Your Role
In this internship, you will:
- Develop and Implement AI/ML Algorithms: Work on creating and integrating AI/ML algorithms into EDA tools to enhance their performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Identify new opportunities for AI/ML applications within EDA tools.
- Enhance Existing Tools: Improve current EDA tools by adding AI/ML and automation capabilities.
- Participate in Code Reviews: Collaborate with other developers, providing and receiving feedback to ensure high-quality code.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML related to EDA.
- Maintain Software Codebase: Ensure the software codebase is up-to-date and functional.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
- A passion for AI/ML and EDA, with expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks.
- Experience with data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Git, Jira, and Unix.
- Excellent spoken English skills.
- The ability to work well in an international team environment.
Additional Information
- Type of Employment: Temporary, Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
- Duration: Minimum 12 months
