The Opportunity
The Premiere Pro Family within the Digital Video & Audio organization seeks a hardworking Software Developer to design, develop and implement solutions. As the leading Video Editing Software, Premiere Pro, we look to expand and push the innovation on video technology. This is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated developer to join a passionate team to help evolve Premiere Pro to continue to be the top choice for storytellers and editors of today and tomorrow.
What You’ll Do
- Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that follows coding standards, technical design and optimized for user demands
- Understand user requirements, define system functionalities and identify potential hurdles
- Write well-designed, high quality and testable code to optimize CI
- Write tests that test the high quality testable code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Help support software verification plans and quality engineer procedures
What You Need to Succeed
- Some experience as a Software Developer in product/application development
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ including Boost and STL, JavaScript a plus
- Work collaboratively and effectively, cross-functionally with Quality Engineering, Product Managers and Design within own team and across Creative Cloud teams, understanding Premiere Pro is part of a much greater creative ecosystem
- Thrive in agile development and learn one’s own velocity
- Enjoy being part of a team that comes up with optimal solutions to complex problems
Nice to Have
- Passion for video and learning about its technologies and innovation(s)
- Strong interest in the broadcast industry standards and its trends
