Job Description
Adobe is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. As a key member of the Adobe Journey Optimizer team, you will lead the development of innovative solutions that empower our customers to create exceptional digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and debugging of software projects, features, and services. Provide effort estimation and risk analysis.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement comprehensive unit tests and develop automated tests to ensure high-quality releases. Maintain full CI/CD for fast and efficient releases.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a multi-functional development team, collaborating across teams on large projects. Engage in an agile, DevOps-oriented culture.
- Operational Excellence: Focus on maintaining operational excellence while delivering with high velocity.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in React, JavaScript, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, and at least one other language such as Java or Kotlin.
- Web Technologies: Deep knowledge of web and browser technologies including HTTP/s, cookies, security, cross-site scripting, CDNs, serverless computing, DOM, rendering engines, and browser storage.
- Networking and Systems: Strong understanding of networking principles, HTTP, REST, and other client/server technologies. Experience with microservice-based distributed systems in the cloud.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- DevOps Experience: Direct experience with DevOps in a SaaS environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Educational Background: Undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative sciences or engineering disciplines.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the design and development of software systems.
Compensation
The U.S. pay range for this position is $108,000 to $198,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
