About the Role
Adobe is seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining services for Adobe Stock, a service that provides designers and businesses with access to high-quality, curated, royalty-free assets. You will work on crafting innovative new features and maintaining existing ones using cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highly scalable ingestion and delivery services for the Adobe Stock ecosystem.
- Implement features for the backend stack, focusing on high code quality and efficiency standards.
- Debug issues across multiple systems and contribute to architectural design discussions.
- Collaborate with peers to share knowledge and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing consumer-facing web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6, Express, and Webpack.
- Experience with Node.js, Typescript, and/or PHP for building microservices.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and GraphQL federation.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, New Relic, and Splunk.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Experience with quality-driven development, including writing unit and integration tests.

Compensation
The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
