Your Role
As a Founding Software Engineer, you will:
- Enhance API Design: Improve our API design and pre-processing algorithms based on customer feedback.
- Train Vision Models: Work on training and fine-tuning vision models for tasks such as extraction, segmentation, and detection.
- Develop Internal Tools: Build internal tools and evaluations to analyze and understand failure cases.
- Innovate with LLMs: Experiment with new techniques and output structures to enhance LLM accuracy.
- Collaborate with Founders: Work directly with the founders to shape product direction and engineering strategy.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an autonomous and resourceful engineer with:
- 2-5 Years of Experience: Proven experience in building real-world applications with a high standard of quality.
- Strong Python Skills: A solid understanding of Python and algorithms.
- Typescript/Next.js Proficiency: Ability to rapidly develop applications using Typescript and Next.js.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Excitement about working directly with customers to design and build features.
Bonus Points
- Entrepreneurial Experience: Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages.
- Passion for ML/AI: Keeping up with the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Location
This is an on-site role based in our San Francisco office.
