Job Summary
As a Founding Engineer at Intercept, you will be one of the first employees, working directly with the founders who hail from prestigious backgrounds including MIT, Wharton, Waymo, and Wayfair. Your role will involve a broad range of responsibilities, from creating new data pipelines and web automations to building user interfaces and LLM-powered tools for data extraction and workflow automation. This position offers a unique opportunity to turn customer feedback directly into new features and products.
Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: You will be responsible for developing across our entire technical stack, ensuring the integration of frontend, backend, and data pipelining.
- Product Development: Take full ownership of the product, from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Innovation and Problem Solving: Engage in building AI-powered tools for an industry that lacks technological advancement, thereby increasing the pace of innovation within physical products.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional coding skills with the ability to ship high-quality code quickly.
- Strong product ownership, capable of delivering end-to-end features.
- Comfortable working across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and data pipelining.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in our tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Python.
- Experience building LLM applications.
- Actively leverages AI in their software development workflow.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping high-quality production code.
- Enthusiasm for tackling real-world, complex problems at the intersection of digital and physical realms.
