Join IBM as a Front End Developer and work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers. Here, you will provide deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients globally. Our Delivery Centers offer local technical skills and knowledge to drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a software developer, you will engage in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that aids clients in implementing hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural design, development, and/or re-engineering of front-end components for enterprise-level web applications or hybrid mobile applications.
• Handle graphic visual and interactive design for web applications using responsive design and development techniques.
• Develop prototypes and perform hands-on coding to create and integrate application user interfaces using technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, and various APIs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of architectural design for front-end solutions, including functional and graphical requirements, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular (2+), and Vue.js.
• Experience in developing responsive web applications and hybrid mobile applications using technologies like React Native and Flutter, with strong proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Proficiency in JSON, XML, REST services, and OpenAPI specifications, using tools like Swagger and Postman for efficient development and testing.
• Knowledge of front-end testing techniques and tools to ensure application quality and performance.
• Intermediate proficiency in English and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Skills in front-end integration solutions with back-end-for-front-end.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
