Join Our Team as a Frontend Developer
We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our Digital Customer Experience department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the agile software development of our global Sartorius.com website and e-Shop.
Responsibilities
- Sprint Tasks: Participate in sprint tasks and collaborate closely with internal product teams to design and implement new features.
- eCommerce Solutions: Contribute significantly to the scaling of our eCommerce solutions.
- Responsive Interfaces: Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces for our CMS and e-Shop based on design templates.
- Interactive Elements: Implement interactive elements and functions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure faster loading times and smooth performance through techniques such as lazy loading and code splitting.
- API Integration: Work closely with backend developers on API integration and perform tests to fix bugs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in (business) informatics or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in agile software development, particularly in frontend development with a focus on CMS-based solutions like Coremedia and SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and IntelliJ. Experience with B2B front-end solutions using frameworks like Angular, React, UI5, Bootstrap, jQuery, or Node.js, and knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Mindset: A results-oriented mindset with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to a broad audience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
