The Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC) is on a mission to make the Netherlands resilient against digital threats. As part of our Data & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining front-end applications that contribute to the digital safety of the nation.

About the Role

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining various front-end applications. These applications are used internally at NCSC and by a wide range of cybersecurity experts and organizations across the Netherlands. Your work will directly impact the cybersecurity landscape, making it safer and more secure.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Work with APIs to integrate data and functionality into applications.
Utilize CSS, SCSS, and SASS for styling and responsive design.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an Agile SCRUM environment.
Contribute to the development of NCSC’s data platform and digital products.

Ideal Candidate

Proficient in React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Experience with API integration and front-end development.
Knowledge of CSS, SCSS, and SASS for styling.
Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress.
Experience with visualization libraries such as Apex and D3.js is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn more about the field.

Qualifications

HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience working in Agile SCRUM DevOps teams.
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: €4,024 - €6,110 per month.
