The Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC) is on a mission to make the Netherlands resilient against digital threats. As part of our Data & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining front-end applications that contribute to the digital safety of the nation.
About the Role
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining various front-end applications. These applications are used internally at NCSC and by a wide range of cybersecurity experts and organizations across the Netherlands. Your work will directly impact the cybersecurity landscape, making it safer and more secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Work with APIs to integrate data and functionality into applications.
- Utilize CSS, SCSS, and SASS for styling and responsive design.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an Agile SCRUM environment.
- Contribute to the development of NCSC’s data platform and digital products.
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Experience with API integration and front-end development.
- Knowledge of CSS, SCSS, and SASS for styling.
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress.
- Experience with visualization libraries such as Apex and D3.js is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn more about the field.
Qualifications
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working in Agile SCRUM DevOps teams.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
