The Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC) is on a mission to make the Netherlands resilient against digital threats. As part of this mission, we are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of the nation by developing and maintaining front-end applications that are used by cybersecurity experts and organizations across the country.
About the Role
As a Frontend Developer at NCSC, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining various front-end applications.
- Working on interfaces that are used daily by a wide range of cybersecurity experts and organizations.
- Ensuring that the applications contribute to a cyber-safe Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Utilize your expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js to build responsive and efficient web applications.
- Work with APIs to integrate data and functionality into the applications.
- Apply your knowledge of CSS and SASS for styling and design.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Proficiency in working with APIs and styling using SCSS and CSS.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn more about the field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with end-to-end test frameworks such as Cypress.
- Knowledge of visualization/chart libraries like Apex and D3.js.

Salary and Benefits
