Join Our Team as a Frontend Developer
As a Frontend Developer at Cargonaut, part of the Royal Schiphol Group, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary feature team. Your primary focus will be on developing business applications and portals for our clients, including freight forwarders, handlers, and airlines. Our development process emphasizes quality and security, and we prioritize a fun and engaging work environment. Our mission is to connect the Netherlands with the rest of the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Prototype Customer Journeys: Collaborate with UX/UI experts to conceptualize and test various customer journey concepts, developing prototypes that enhance user experience.
- Reusable Front-End Components: Develop and maintain reusable front-end components that can be shared across different applications and portals.
- Collaboration with Test Engineers: Work closely with test engineers to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Client Migration Strategy: Contribute to the development of migration strategies for clients, ensuring smooth transitions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in frontend development, particularly with Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript. Experience with Next.js, Azure DevOps, and OpenShift is a plus.
- Mindset: A proactive, get-things-done mentality with a passion for improving customer journeys and user interaction.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in the logistics sector is beneficial.
- Education: HBO+ level of working and thinking.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: €4,744 to €6,582 gross per month (Scale 12).
- Additional Benefits: A 13th month salary, fully covered public transport with an NS-Business Card, and a choice between an iPhone 14 or Samsung S22.
- Flexible Work Hours: The possibility to work 4x9 hours in a 36-hour workweek.

You will be part of the Airport Operations & Aviation Partnerships department, the heart of Schiphol Group. Together with 909 dedicated colleagues, we ensure the smooth arrival and departure of passengers, baggage, and cargo, maintaining reliability, safety, and efficiency.
