The Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC) is on a mission to make the Dutch society resilient against digital threats. As part of this mission, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Frontend Developer to join our team in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. About the Role
As a DevOps Frontend Developer, you will be part of one of our Agile Scrum development teams within the Service Development and Management (SOB) unit, under the Information Provision & Technology (IV&T) department. You will contribute to the development and management of custom NCSC services in a T-shaped role.
Key Responsibilities
- Development (React): Create user-friendly, high-quality frontends based on UX/UI designs or through direct collaboration with business and engineering colleagues.
- Ensure Functional Alignment: Ensure that services continue to meet business requirements.
- Operations: Ensure that digital services meet the highest standards of security (BBN3), availability, and performance.
- On-call Duty: Participate in an on-call duty as part of the role.
Work Environment
The work atmosphere is informal, with plenty of room for personal initiative. We work in two-week sprints to contribute to the NCSC's mission. While everyone is welcome every day, the team works on-site one day per week.
Who You Are
- You are eager to work hard, make mistakes, and learn a lot.
- You have extensive experience with React and preferably another programming language.
- You are familiar with programming against APIs and have experience with GIT.
- You have knowledge of Kubernetes and are particularly interested in Cloud technology.
Additional Requirements
- Experience working in Agile SCRUM DevOps teams.
- Experience with security aspects/information security.
- At least three years of experience as a Frontend Engineer with React.
- Experience writing tests.
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably with a completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Salary and Benefits

- Monthly Salary: €4024 - €6110
