Join Our Team as a Frontend Engineer Angular
Cornelsen Verlag GmbH, a leading provider of educational media, is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in Angular to join our EdTech Engineering team in Berlin. This is a full-time, on-site position with the flexibility of part-time arrangements.
Your Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you will be part of an agile team responsible for the continuous development of our integrated teaching and learning environment, lernen.cornelsen.de. You will collaborate closely with product management to make informed feature and infrastructure decisions within our domain. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of specific components and continuously improving their architecture, performance, and scalability.
- Maintaining productive collaboration between external engineering service providers and internal team members.
- Conducting code reviews and engaging in discussions about features, UX, best practices, methods, and tools to continuously improve team processes.
Your Profile
- Strong knowledge in web application development and architectural design, with excellent skills in Angular, Jasmine/Karma, and NgRx.
- A high affinity for design and user experience, valuing styling as much as business logic.
- Comfortable working with single-page applications and asynchronous data flows, optimizing them for all major browsers.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest in web development.
- Commitment to high software quality, security awareness regarding sensitive data, and use of proven open-source libraries and tools.
- Proficiency in German and good command of English.
