Celonis, a leader in Process Mining technology, is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Munich, Germany. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our Emotion library, which is central to building consistent UIs and interactions across all Celonis products.

About the Team

Our team is responsible for the Emotion library, a comprehensive web components library that represents our design system. It consists of over 80 components, layouts, and utilities, serving as the main resource for building consistent UIs and interactions.

Your Role

As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Understand and own the guidelines and specifications of our design system.
• Maintain the core functionality of our library, optimize the build system, and improve speed and performance.
• Ensure stability and bring new features and improvements to our components.
• Create highly performant and scalable components and improve existing widgets.
• Write clean, understandable, and testable code.
• Work on complex Angular topics and architectures.
• Develop features to enhance other developers' working environments.
• Optimize app performance and maintain existing resources.
• Contribute to and extend our Core architecture with Angular.
• Bring in new exciting ideas and solutions for challenges.
• Support and coach junior/mid-level colleagues by sharing best practices.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of solid experience in Frontend Development.
• University degree in computer science or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with Angular 2-11, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
• Experience in writing and setting up tests (unit and integration tests) and with JS module bundlers such as Webpack.
• Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of how to set up CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Good communication skills (English is a must).
