Full Stack Developer with React.js and Java

Overview

AXA XL is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Innovation, Data & Analytics team. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing digital products and platforms that drive business benefits and market differentiation through innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Lead Developer, UX Designer, and Product Owner to inform UX designs and develop data & AI applications.
Operate as a Full-Stack Developer for IDA applications, portals, and integrations.
Engage in problem-solving discussions, code reviews, and pair programming with team members.
Contribute to daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies to ensure team progress visibility.
Extend existing back-end web application and infrastructure codebases, adhering to code standards.
Ensure solutions are designed for performance across multiple platforms.
Support technical design, target state software architectures, data mappings, and integration mechanisms.
Analyze requirements, take ownership of development tasks, and ensure quality deliverables.
Work as part of an Agile squad, ensuring delivery within tight timelines and high client satisfaction.
Support engagement with GT governance forums, ensuring alignment with AXA architecture standards.

Required Skills and Experience

Advanced experience in Java, JavaScript, CSS, and React.js.
Experience with Spring Boot microservice architecture.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Understanding and implementation of DevOps principles.
Hands-on experience developing REST web services and APIs.
Familiarity with version management tools like GitHub.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Excellent project management, time management, and communication skills.
BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
