Join our Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Corporate Technology (CT) at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group). Role Overview

As a Fullstack Developer, you will be part of a team that serves as a bridge between Corporate Technology and LSEG central engineering, operations, and compliance teams. Your key focus will be enabling our CT DevOps teams to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible. You will ensure all central requirements and changes are supported via aligned EXP squads. Using our EXP squads, the team will either directly implement the technical change required or lead CT coordinated efforts where there are multiple capability dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain high-quality software applications from conception to deployment.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including architecture design, testing, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
• Ensure correct tooling standards are being followed and automate operational tasks.
• Support CT Compliance, Security Controls, and Risk Management.
• Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in HTML, React.js, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with server-side programming languages like Node.js, Java, and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
• Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of developer tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of databases and performance testing and optimization.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

Preferred Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and advanced skills in infrastructure as code.
• Minimum knowledge and understanding of financial markets is desirable.
