Full Stack Engineer Intern

About the Role

Are you passionate about animals and skilled in web development? Sponsor a Pet is seeking a Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for both internal and client-facing projects, where you will work closely with the lead engineer to deliver features in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will directly impact our organization's growth and expansion as we continue to build our client base of over 20 non-profits.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the lead engineer to optimize backend and frontend infrastructure.
Learn and implement ways to enhance cloud and backend services.
Handle high-priority tasks that require immediate attention and deployment.
Engage in short-term projects (1-2 weeks) involving both backend and frontend development to improve our application.
Set up core product features for ongoing use.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python, React.js, HTML/CSS/JS.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Django REST Framework, AWS Cloud Services, Tailwind CSS.

Compensation

This internship offers college credit and the potential to transition into a full-time position as the company grows.
