About the Role
Our client, a leading alternative investment firm with over $160 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Full Stack Developer. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying applications that support the firm's investment activities across credit, fixed income, venture capital, and real estate sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Utilize Python, FastAPI, Django, React, and other web development frameworks to build robust applications.
- API Development: Create and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs to integrate with various trading or portfolio management systems.
- Cloud Deployment: Design and develop solutions optimized for cloud deployment on AWS.
- Code Reviews and Technical Discussions: Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions to ensure high-quality software development.
- Best Practices: Follow best practices for software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years in full stack web development roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Django, React, or other web development frameworks.
- Testing: Experience in writing unit tests and mocks.
- Cloud and Infrastructure: Familiarity with Terraform and AWS cloud formation.
- Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work, based in New York, NY.
