About the Role

We’re seeking a talented Full-stack Engineer with expertise in .NET, React, and Next.js to join our development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications, contributing to both backend and frontend development. Your focus will be on building reliable, scalable systems and interactive user interfaces that align with our mission to enhance the journaling experience for individuals and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain: Use .NET for backend services and React/Next.js for frontend to develop new features and maintain existing ones.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure seamless and efficient deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize our web applications for performance and scalability.
• Security & Data Protection: Implement strong security measures and protect user data across all systems.
• Data Integration: Work with relational databases and NoSQL solutions to integrate and manage data.
• API Development: Create and consume RESTful APIs.
• Code Review: Review code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to our coding standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, design, and customer success teams to define technical solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and implement best practices for development and deployment.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.
• Proficiency in .NET framework and C#.
• Strong knowledge of React and experience with Next.js.
• Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Version control: Proficient with Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit for .NET and Jest, React Testing Library for JS).
