About the Role
As an Engineering Lead at Travel Diaries, you will be the driving force behind our small development team, ensuring technical excellence and delivering cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will be essential in bringing our vision to life, steering our projects to successful completion. Your leadership will ensure our technical direction aligns with business strategies, paving the way for continuous growth and cultivating a culture of relentless improvement and forward-thinking innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor the engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Encourage team members to take ownership of their work and contribute to the company's goals.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee technical projects, ensuring timely and within scope completion. Facilitate scrum ceremonies and promote agile principles within the team. Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance team productivity and delivery.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team and with other stakeholders. Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Cultivate trust and amplify the strengths of team members through open communication and continuous feedback.
AI and Innovation
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, especially in AI and machine learning. Explore and integrate AI solutions where applicable to enhance product functionality.

- Annual compensation: €55,495 - €66,033
