The Opportunity

Join our Remote Firm Intelligence team at Litera, where we are transforming the way firms leverage their data for competitive advantage. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing a modern application that delights users on the Microsoft Azure platform using technologies such as Svelte/React.js, HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Generative AI. A Day in the Life

• Write clean, maintainable code that is extensible with a minimum number of defects.
• Provide expert-level knowledge of modern software development techniques and methodologies.
• Guide the team on UX/UI related engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of product features from estimates to design and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, QA) to complete tasks.
• Manage individual task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Shape innovative designs and feature enhancement ideas into the product and design process.
• Own key areas of the product in terms of design and development.
• Deliver solutions that scale.

Role Progression

Within 1 month, you will:

• Complete the Litera onboarding process.
• Learn the functional areas of the application and intended uses.
• Establish relationships with all developers and quality engineering members on the team.
• Act as a member of an Agile team that solves complex challenges and builds working software.
• Triage, analyze, and develop solutions for bugs and minor enhancements using Azure DevOps.

Within 3 months, you will:

• Contribute code improvements regularly to the application.
• Develop subject matter expertise in one or more application areas.
• Translate product designs into technical designs and development tasks.

Within 6 months, you will:

• Collaborate with other development team members to build robust features.
• Establish subject matter expertise in multiple feature areas of the application.
• Own feature development for critical feature areas within the application.

About You

• 2+ years of experience with HTML5/CSS/TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with one of the following SPA frameworks: React/Svelte/Angular/Vue.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web/REST APIs.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (i.e., NUnit, MSTest).
• Experience with SQL Azure or SQL Server, and Microsoft Entity Framework.
• Exposure to automated test frameworks such as Playwright, JMeter, or Cypress is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, and Microsoft Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated build and deployment processes.

Salary

For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington, the salary range is $106,000 to $120,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
