Full-stack JavaScript Developer
About the Role
As a Full-stack JavaScript Developer within our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our online environment, which is accessed by thousands of customers daily. Our scrum team has ambitious plans for innovation and renewal. The migration to a new cloud platform offers opportunities to elevate our technical setup. Your extensive experience and knowledge in API management and a cross-team perspective on sustainable technical setups are essential.
You will work from either The Hague or Hoogeveen, with the flexibility to work from home and be present at the office regularly, depending on your location. We meet physically at least once every two weeks in The Hague. Additionally, you will actively participate in the "Developers Guild," where you exchange knowledge with a wide range of developer colleagues within ANWB.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and monitor (internal and external) APIs and business logic.
- Proactively identify and advise on opportunities and possibilities in technical setups and collaborations.
- Translate user and business requirements into technical possibilities.
- Communicate technical challenges and deliverables in an understandable context to various stakeholders within the organization.

Our Team
You will be part of the "Mijn ANWB Verzekeren Service" scrum team. Together with your fellow developers, a scrum master, product owner, web analyst, and UX designer, you are responsible for our online environment. Security and sustainable solutions are central. Flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet changing customer needs, both in our code and collaboration.
The team atmosphere is relaxed, flexible, and informal. We are supportive and open to discussions, always ready to help each other.
Your Background
You are an experienced full-stack JavaScript developer with a focus on TypeScript/NodeJS. You are familiar with Microservices and can independently set up and manage serverless functions for Backend-for-frontend systems. We use the following technologies:

- TypeScript
- Monitoring
- Preferred: Netlify, AWS Lambda, Amazon App Runner, Gitlab
Additionally, you can build and maintain complex frontend applications using:
